If I keep my fingers crossed for you Sylv can I make it one hand for you getting your voice back and the other for the job interview? However, you won't be hearing much from me for a while as it is extremely difficult to type when both hands have fingers crossed.

Because I have lost my voice,

And then someone says "where did you last have it?"

If I knew that it wouldn`t be lost would it??

Hope the interview went well, and you were able to speak enough, Sylv.

No feedback as yet re-interview Cursing

The wretched man said he'd get back to me today but the HR manager (nice lady) said Monday - she is probably correct.

Still have no bloody voice and its getting a tad silly; I also feel pretty rough and the house is a disaster zone. I don't DO ill/sick/colds/manflu etc so am carrying on regardless. My insistence on doing so was a bit bone of contention when Ian was alive as he was a sit down and rest type but I think old age is beginning to kick in and I have to admit I've felt rotten all week.

Am off to make a hot drink which will include a healthy serving of alcohol then have cold cure (aka Night Nurse - brew of the satan) in order to get up, perform and be normal. I have urgent things to attend to - colouring hair, pedicure and cleaning the kitchen so need to be functioning normally tomorrow - I will be most displeased if I don't get up in my normal state of too much energy BigGrin BigGrin
